The girl with the name risiliant

Nicole Burbano

A little girl sat alone on a bench, her face buried deep in the palms of her hands. Tears were rushing down her face as she remembering her long awful day. All she wanted was to be considered one of them but she knew that was nothing but a dream. So one day the little girl went home sobbing and feeling terrible she thought it was the end of life but she knew it wasn’t. She couldn’t stand the thought of ever going back to school and people laughing her name, so she wrote a letter to each one she loved and signed it with tears of blood, she wanted to be no part of this cruel world, she grabbed a robe and tied it around her neck then the other one around the curtain rod, before she jumped a very vivid memory flashed through her head. She remembered all her happy moments with her family, her first date and those times with her friends. “Was she really ready to give all that up already?” she thought. The answer was no. She grabbed her blood covered hands and unwrapped the rope around her neck. She fell to her knees crying. She knew she couldn’t do it. She had way too much to live for, After all she was only 16, too young to have experienced anything. She knew she had to face her fears going back to school because one day she would be greater than all of them. She is resilient, she is the face of tomorrow even though it may be scarred she knows that it wasn’t worth it.
