NFL Draft

During the draft many interesting things happened. For example, many NFL teams drafted talented and skilled players. The whole NFL was at the draft (31 teams), the most important picks were Jadaveon Clowney at the pick NO. 1 and Johnny Manziel at pick NO.22. My personal favorite pick was De’ Anthony Thomas at pick NO. 124. The draft this years was May 8th – May 10th, every year the draft is around early May or late April. Every year when they do have the draft it’s like watching the Oscar. They have so many guest at the Radio Music Hall in New York City.

“Every step, whether at high school or at college or at the NFL, I had to climb and crawl and scratch to get there.” This quote was said by New York Giants WR Victor Cruz. This quote has lots of meaning and perspective. But, my perspective of this quote is nothing in life is going to come in a silver platter, eventually you’ll need to go through obstacle in life.  Lots of Stars have dark backgrounds and have to go through obstacles every day.
I have interviewed NBA star Kevin Durant when he won the NBA MVP and he dedicated the MVP award to his mother and he appreciated that she had kept safe and off the street. I think the dedication to his mother and his speech had lots of meaning.  I really think Kevin Durant took obstacles in order to get where his is now. Basketball is his life. This season he has worked really hard and is now 3-2 in the second round of the playoffs vs. the Clippers and has won the NBA MVP award and the scoring title. The last time a player has won the MVP award and the scoring title was back in 2000-01 season by Allen Iverson.
