Wow the newest Godzilla movie was amazing. Many new thinks have been added to the great Godzilla. There were plenty Godzilla movies they all started in 1954. The movie was produced by Tokusatsu Kaiju.  The first Godzilla movie was amazing it took place in the city of Tokyo. Where a scientist was experimenting on a lizard and the test went very wrong. The lizard started to grow bigger and bigger.

 

                        Some background knowledge about Godzilla is that the scientist that created him was named Mike P. Taylor. Someone quoted about the new Godzilla movie. “The arrogance of men is thinking nature is in their control and not the other way around. Let them fight.” This means that humanity thinks that we can control monster and nature but what really happens is nature controls us.

                Nintendo, Xbox, Play Station and many other games have been made before we were even born. Let me start with Nintendo products first. We all know what Nintendo is right. If you don’t know it don’t worry I will explain all the games for you. All these games have been widely known and widely used.

To begin with Nintendo is an entertaining electronic company. Nintendo is also a Japanese company. Nintendo has consoles and they also have portable Nintendo’s. They were founded on September 23, 1889. They first released on the beginning of 1985. They got popular and made many games since then. There most popular game is Super Mario Bro’s which sold over 40.24 million copies. New games just keep on coming each year. Especially on the Nintendo eShop that already comes installed in your Nintendo 3DS system. It is a store inside the 3DS system where you can purchase more games.

Now the XBOX. You probably know what Xbox is if you are reading this. Let me just give a brief summary what the XBOX is if you don’t now. XBOX is a console that has games you can buy and games you can download straight from the console. The Xbox was founded April 4, 1975 by Microsoft Corporation.  In other words Microsoft owns the XBOX. Xbox is also in the new Windows Version. It is Windows 8. You can play Xbox games from your pc. Xbox is probably the most popular game today. Plus now there is an Xbox one that recently came out. So check it out!

The play station is a console which is like the Xbox. You can play games in it. The play station is also very popular. A new recent play station came out which is the PS4. This isn’t updates though. The PS4 came out November 15, of 2013. The ps4 has many games and it has many Xbox game too but in their version. Before all of this the play station was originally Nintendo’s idea but just let it go. Then that was when Sony pick it up. So now Sony owns the play station.

That all for now. Don’t worry next time I will be talking about game updates and more new games and consoles for the future.

Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks?

Dunkin Donuts, Star Bucks which is better?

               

Students are being surveyed of the better fast food restaurant. The fast food restaurants chosen were Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. They want to know if there were anything that they had to improve. The survey started at May 15^th. The survey was taken in School 8 taken on the laptop.                                                                                                                                                          
On May 20^th, the votes were counted. The results were that Dunkin Donuts was better than Starbucks. One student said that the coffee in Starbucks was too caffeinated. It gave her mom a chest ache. Dunkin Donuts also gave more coupons for foods. Additionally, Dunkin Donuts have donuts, which people love. Dunkin Donuts have some foods and offers that Starbucks doesn’t have. That doesn’t mean Starbucks isn’t a good fast food restaurant.

The news of school

It took place in the class 301


The classmate Nicole has to make a choice fail or use her left hand.

My classmate Nicole has to struggle writing with her left hand. Why must she write with her left hand? It is because she has punched a locker for anger issue. It has taken place in school 8 2^nd building of this school at class 301.

We have just settle in class were going to do the 2^nd newspaper of this school year. Once she told us the assignment we have start expect for Nicole. Our teacher miss.blanco notice she went up to Nicole. Ask “why are you not working” in a claim voiced. Nicole replied with “I can’t write with my right hand”. ”what about your left hand”. “It will be sloppy”. “Try your best”. They both went quiet our teacher left, she started. It has taken one minute to write a sentence. In the end of the period she couldn’t finish it, barely gotten to half of newspaper.

            My opinion on this school is average to be a new school in a city like Elizabeth, that is constantly on the move and whose economy is on a great level. According to www.elizabethnj.org, “The City of Elizabeth is the economic engine for the State of New Jersey, leading the way as a hub for transportation, shipping, industrial, and retail opportunities… With more than $1 billion in private investments, revitalized neighborhoods, and renovated business districts, Elizabeth has become the most prosperous major City in New Jersey.” This shows that Elizabeth is a city that is respected for its great attributions to the state, which measn Elizabeth can be considered a wealthy city in the sense of industrial purposes.

I started Zulmari’s interview on May 19, 2014 at 11:50 AM, and it ended on May 21, 2014 around 12:30 PM. I am going to be interviewing you on how you think the school has changed for the better or worse from the beginning of the year to the end of the school year. Zulmari thinks that iPrep Academy, in Elizabeth, NJ part of Elizabeth Board of Education, has changed for the better from the beginning to the end of the school year. Even though Zulmari does no love her school, she still gave an accurate yet positive review for the school.

            Q: What do you think about the students’ behaviors in the school?

A: It’s good... It’s amazing. I’m amazing and that makes the school better. JK It’s so/so, sometimes the students’ behavior is on the good side or sometimes they just don’t listen.

Q: What do you think about the school lunch?

A: I think it’s nasty. Just plain nasty.

Q: How do you think the school staff handles bullying and other conflicts going on between students?

A: I think it’s pretty good and it works better than other schools but they have things to work on.

Q: If you could make a change, what would it be?

A: To have our book bags back.

Q: Because…?

A: Many people would like their book bags back to carry their stuff instead of carrying it by hand.

           

 

 

 

 



 

 

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

This specific syndrome happens when you have Illnesses such as hypothyroidism, rheumatoid arthritis, and diabetes or making the same hand movements over and over. Especially if the wrist is bent down (your hands lower than your wrists), or making the same wrist movements over and over or even pregnancy. So if you suffer from diabetes then you have a higher chance of getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. You should not even make the same hand movement. Even some pregnant females can end up with this Syndrome.

My friend Erica Santana is suffering from this Syndrome. She had to wear a cast for several days and she couldn’t even move her hand. This happened to her in fifth grade in her old school. Now she is in seventh grade and she is still suffering. Erica said, “This happened when I was moving my hand around and around. Then I started feeling something in my hand and I was sent to the Emergency room.” I don’t think this is a joke. She was dead serious when she said this.

This story should be able to introduce and tell you about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and how it is not a joke. Don’t think that you can’t end up with Syndrome because it can happen to my friend Erica. She didn’t know what was going on at first though, but her story should tell you about how serious this is. So you should be careful about what you do.
